Is Belgrade Dangerous?
There are some areas you should avoid in Belgrade, but that is no different to any large city all over the world. The busy tourist areas where most of the nightlife, casinos and apartments are located is definitely safe and you do not need to worry at all.
Similar to Krakow/Poland, there is a massive cross town rivalry between the two big soccer clubs Partizan and Red Star Belgrade. Be careful around soccer fans and we don’t recommend to wear either of their jerseys.
Prices in Belgrade
Definitely cheaper than in central Europe. However, probably not as cheap as Ukraine or Belarus.
You can have a great time on a lower budget for sure. The price is not the only reason people travel here. On average you pay 40-50% less than in central European restaurants and clubs.
