Is Skopje Dangerous?

We have never had any issues with safety in Skopje & just like in any bigger city, we recommend using common sense.

The apartment we team up with in Skopje is located in a very good area, close to the city center.

You can get to most places within walking distance. Some of the clubs are a few minutes drive away, but our personal driver will get you anywhere you need. People are friendly, if you are too!

Prices in Skopje

It is hard to give exact numbers here as it always depends on what kinds of restaurants, bars or clubs you like to hang out.

But in general, prices are on average half of what they are in central Europe for food and drinks.

Maybe even a bit less. You get a lot of fun for your money here.

Flights

Skopje is very cheap and easy to access from all over Europe. Our first groups travelling from Germany only paid 45 EUR for their return flights! Of course it depends where you are flying from, but most countries have good flights to Skopje. Contact us and we will find the best flights for you!

Transfer

No big deal, just let us know your arrival/departure times and we will organise this for you. No point waiting for a taxi. It will also be cheaper to pre-book as a group!

We will always book you into a newly furnished, nice and well located apartment. We recommend apartments over a normal hotel or hostel stay as better value for money. You have more privacy, a kitchen and plenty of space for pre drinks before a night out in Skopje.

In Skopje they are all over the place. Maybe not the most important thing on a drinking with the boys weekend, however if you ever feel like a quick coffee or snack there are many cool options. People in Skopje love to go for coffees!

Restaurants

If you are looking for traditional Macedonian food, then you will be right at home in Skopje. There are many rustic restaurants, with a great atmosphere and fantastic food.

There are unlimited options available and prices are great. One thing you guys should definitely include into your weekend is a good feast at a traditional Macedonian restaurant.

There are 4 or 5 good clubs in the center of Skopje. Depending on what kind of music you are into, we will point you into the right direction! Expect to party hard until 5 am on weekends!

General

Skopje is the most unknown capital of the Balkan states and therefore interesting to check out.

Skopje nightlife features breweries, traditional food, cheap drinks and the people here definitely love to party.

The city and its surroundings become more and more alive in the warmer months. There is also the option to make an excursion to the lake region not far away from the capital, where you can have some crazy nights out in summer.

For those interested there is also a rich cultural aspect to Skopje which displays many of the statues around the main square.

There will be a lot of great food, shots, vodka and dancing!
